The link titled "Elder Friendly Strategic Planning" will provide you with a copy of the document "Elder Friendly Community Advocacy," which is a tool that can be used by boards of community programs to do strategic planning to help their communities become more "elder friendly."
To obtain a copy of the "Is My Community Elder Friendly?" survey (updated in Sept. 04 to provide a place for local LAH/BNPs to include their contact information), click on the link titled "Is My Community Elder Friendly? -Survey".
A Microsoft Excel workbook which can be used to easily tally the results of your "Is My Community Elder Friendly?" survey and your Self Assessment Checklist is available from Elderberry Institute for a nominal fee.
